General Yoga

General Yoga is a regular daily class, designed to cultivate the integration of body, mind and spirit. The charming blend of classical Hatha yoga and Iyengar Yoga approach brings balance, strength, and a sense of well-being to the practitioner. Through the holding of poses, proper alignment and mindful actions of the body can be found. Classes Included + Stretching and strengthening Exercises + Increases flexibility + Tones and relaxes muscles and joints + Calms and balances nervous system + Improves immune system + Internal organs are massage, stimulated + Improving digestion + Breathing Exercises We finish our class with 20 minutes of guided relaxation, which helps us focus deepy within, into a state of complete inner calm and peace. General Preparation for Class + It is not recommended to practice yoga on a full stomach + Eat a couple hours before class time + Wear comfortable and loose exercise clothing + Please observe basic hygiene when attending a yoga class. + Refrain from wearing perfume, cologne or scented oils during class

Beginner  Designed for students new to yoga or for those who desire a slower paced class. We will explore basic yoga postures with an overview of the foundations while emphasizing alignment and breath. It’s also a preparation class before you come to intermediate class. Intermediate For the student wanting to explore a variety of postures including inversions, arm balances and deep back bending as well as pranayama and meditation. Please have a consistent practice with a working knowledge of alignment.
