I was introduced to Balance Yoga by a friend of
mine in Yogyakarta. I went to one yoga session and then
immediately signed up to be a member. It is a very warm
and welcoming place and the yoga instructors are not
only very knowledgeable, they are very concerned about
the whole-body wellness of the people whoe come to their
sessions. It is a very friendly atmosphere, a good place
for meditation, and also a massage (I got the green tea
scrub massage...!). The yoga sessions are also excellent
- there is something for everyone; beginners can feel
comfortable trying something new, and advanced yoga practicioners
can still feel challanged. Balance Yoga is a wonderful
place, I highly recommend it...!

I joined Balance Studio in early 2004 and have made a point of studying yoga with Lina and Sandi at every available opportunity. Not only are they superb teachers, teaching with compassion, patience and diligence, but their passion and love of yoga (and healthy living in general) is highly infectious!
Memorable highlights of practising yoga at Balance include a weekend retreat to the beautiful Losari Coffee Plantation as well as joining the Balance course designed specifically to strengthen the spine and alleviate back problems.
